DENVER – For an unsung hero like forward Dylan McIntosh, it sure seemed like fans at the LOUD HOUSE and within arenas throughout North America heard the 27-year-old’s name announced somewhat regularly.
That’s because the right-handed finisher wasted no time in making a Mammoth impression during his first year with Colorado.
Throughout the 2025-26 National Lacrosse League (NLL) campaign, just 44 men managed to record 26 or more tallies, with stars like Zed Williams, Wes Berg and Challen Rogers ending the season with the same 26 successful goals that McIntosh logged.
For context, fellow star Jack Hannah recorded 27 tallies during his own first season rocking burgundy and black. So, to say No. 47 in McIntosh grabbed his opportunity by the horns may still be an understatement, as the Pitt Meadows, British Columbia native truly nocked his first year with the Mammoth out of the park.
Ending his fourth professional campaign ranked fourth on the squad in goals amongst his new career-high 40 points (26g, 14a), Mammoth fans witnessed McIntosh step up in real-time, thus allowing some additional operation space for guys like Hannah, rookie Braedon Saris and beyond, as opposing defenses were eventually forced to guard McIntosh like any other top-tier threat.
Adding a personal-best 55 loose balls as one of the few Mammoth teammates to participate in each of the season’s 18 regular season matchups, he was afforded an opportunity to make noise immediately, as Mammoth General Manager Brad Self knew McIntosh had plenty to bring to the table when the organization acquired him from the Vancouver Warriors during the offseason.

Of course, this wasn’t the first time Colorado’s front office called in some firepower and provided them with a greater role and witnessed the dividends pay out so quickly (see: Connor Robinson, Zed Williams, etc.)
However, this WAS McIntosh’s breakout campaign. So, seeing the B.C. native step into the limelight and countlessly provide clutch goals was a welcomed sight for burgundy and black supporters everywhere.
Prior to arriving in Colorado, McIntosh’s single-season point record was a mere 14 points (5g, 9a) – produced during his third campaign with the Warriors. Nearly tripling said point total while evolving from a five-goal-scorer to a 26-tally-getter wasn’t necessarily in the cards, but a Mammoth offense which lost forward Ryan Lee early in the season due to injury surely had a spot for a guy like D-Mac.
And for as impactful as he was during his first complete regular season run, McIntosh went on to record a hat trick (3g, 1a) during the team’s postseason showdown against the San Diego Seals. Trailing only Andrew Kew in goal-scoring efforts, he put an exclamation mark on his most successful season to date in a big way, suggesting he’s got plenty to give during the upcoming slate.
Primed to join the Burgundy Boys in Lakewood later this fall for the team’s 2026 Colorado Mammoth Training Camp, he’ll look to build on his career-highs achieved in 25-26, this time likely with Leezer Lazers flying left and right, which will ultimately only create more finishing space!
