Mammoth Sign Trio of 2026 NLL Entry Draft Selections to Three-Year Deals
DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced the organization signed defenseman Cole Teeple, forward Ryan Stines and goaltender Zach Constantopoulos to respective three-year contract agreements Tuesday.
Teeple, Stines and Constantopoulos were each selected during the 2026 NLL Entry Draft Presented by Capelli Sport and are primed to attend Colorado’s approaching Training Camp.
Colorado began the draft by selecting defenseman Cole Teeple with the first pick (19th overall) of the second round. Teeple, 23, was selected during the second round (19th overall) of last month’s draft, which represented Colorado’s first pick made.
The 6-2, 175-lb. talent most recently recorded three points (0g, 3a) and four penalty minutes with the Sr. A Owen Sound North Stars of Major Series Lacrosse (MSL). Teeple also logged two points (2g, 0a) and two penalty minutes during five appearances with the Sr. B Kahnawake Mohawks of Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League (TNSLL). The Orangeville, Ontario native notched five points (2g, 3a) in 10 contests with the North Stars in 2025.
During his Jr. A career with the Orangeville Northmen, Teeple racked up 58 points (14g, 44a) and 23 penalty minutes across 60 regular season games played and added 14 points (3g, 11a) and 12 penalty minutes during his 33 postseason appearances.
Teeple also recorded 13 points (4g, 9a), 55 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers across 65 career games played at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Colorado selected Stines, 23, during the second round (25th overall) of the 2026 NLL Entry Draft.
The 5-11, 190-lb. forward most recently logged 30 points (18g, 12a) and 12 ground balls during 12 games played with the Utah Archers of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). He added one goal (1g, 0a) during his postseason appearance with Utah.
The Cary, North Carolina native also recorded 243 points (148g, 95a), 102 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers during his 63 collegiate appearances at the University of Utah, alongside 13 points (7g, 6a) during 10 appearances with the Jr. A Mimico Mountaineers of the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL) in 2024.
Goaltender Zach Constantopoulos was selected during the fifth round (60th overall) of the 2026 NLL Entry Draft.
Constantopoulos, 20, most recently logged 14 wins alongside a 9.47 goals-against average and .817 save percentage during 24 appearances with the OJLL’s Oakville Buzz. The Oakville, Ontario talent recorded a 9.55 goals-against average and .821 save percentage in 2025 with the Buzz.
