Mammoth Select Three During 2026 NLL Entry Draft Presented by Capelli Sport

DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) made three selections during the 2026 NLL Entry Draft Presented by Capelli Sport Thursday.

Colorado began the draft by selecting defenseman Cole Teeple with the first pick (19th overall) of the second round.

Teeple, 23, most recently recorded three points (0g, 3a) and four penalty minutes with the Sr. A Owen Sound North Stars of Major Series Lacrosse (MSL). The Orangeville, Ontario native also logged two points (2g, 0a) and two penalty minutes during five appearances with the Sr. B Kahnawake Mohawks of Three Nations Senior Lacrosse League (TNSLL).

The 6-2, 175-lb. talent notched five points (2g, 3a) in 10 contests with the North Stars in 2025.

During his Jr. A career with the Orangeville Northmen, Teeple racked up 58 points (14g, 44a) and 23 penalty minutes across 60 regular season games played. The defenseman with transition abilities added 14 points (3g, 11a) and 12 penalty minutes in his 33 postseason appearances.

Teeple also recorded 13 points (4g, 9a), 55 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers across 65 career games played at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

The Mammoth doubled down in the second round by selecting forward Ryan Stines (25th overall).

Stines, 23, most recently logged 30 points (18g, 12a) and 12 ground balls during 12 games played with the Utah Archers of the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). The 5-11, 190-lb. forward added one goal (1g, 0a) during his postseason appearance with Utah.

The Cary, North Carolina native recorded 243 points (148g, 95a), 102 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers during his 63 collegiate appearances at the University of Utah.

Stines also notched 13 points (7g, 6a) during 10 appearances with the Jr. A Mimico Mountaineers of the Ontario Junior Lacrosse League (OJLL).

Colorado rounded out the evening by selecting goaltender Zach Constantopoulos (60th overall) during the fifth round.

Constantopoulos, 20, most recently logged 14 wins alongside a 9.47 goals-against average and .817 save percentage during 24 appearances with the OJLL’s Oakville Buzz. The Oakville, Ontario talent recorded a 9.55 goals-against average and .821 save percentage in 2025 with the Buzz.
