Mammoth Announces Broadcast Team for 2021-22 Campaign

The Colorado Mammoth today announced Andy Lindahl, Jamie Shewchuk and John Gallant will serve as the team’s broadcast crew for the 2021-22 National Lacrosse League (NLL) campaign. With the organization slated to begin its season on the road against the Georgia Swarm, the broadcast team will look to make its debut together at Ball Arena Dec. 11 as the Mammoth host the San Diego Seals during The Return of the Loud House.

“With the Colorado Mammoth and National Lacrosse League set to return to Ball Arena next month, Altitude Sports & Entertainment is thrilled to welcome Andy, Jamie and John as members of this season’s broadcast team,” Altitude Sports EVP & General Manager, Executive Producer Kenny Miller shared. “We recognize the importance in providing quality broadcast talent to accurately convey Ball Arena’s unmatchable gameday experience for our fans tuning in to Mammoth games on Altitude TV and we know this group will exceed standards both in the booth and between the benches.”

Longtime broadcast professional and NFL sideline reporter Andy Lindahl is set to lead the charge for this year’s team, serving as the play-by-play announcer for home games at Ball Arena. Lindahl, who grew up in the greater Denver area, picked up his first lacrosse stick in high school and hasn’t looked back since. A player and supporter of the Creator’s Game for nearly three decades, the new television voice of the Mammoth continues to stay involved in the lacrosse community working with youth athletes as a coach, mentor and parent.

Lindahl, who regularly contributed to Mammoth broadcasts in the early 2010s as a sideline reporter and analyst, joins former Mammoth greats Jamie Shewchuk and John Gallant for the team’s upcoming season. Shewchuk, who continues to serve as the Mammoth color commentator, worked alongside Lindahl nearly a decade ago in producing some of the organization’s most entertaining coverage. The familiar duo will be complemented by NLL veteran John Gallant, stationed between the benches, and primed to share gameday insights from Mammoth stars and attending opponents.

“Fans enjoy watching the game and seeing our guys make big plays, but this team’s ability of breaking down the details of a play; an approach, a defensive stop, and analyzing how it came to fruition is huge for growing our game and our league,” Mammoth General Manager Brad Self shared. “We’re confident this crew will have some fun keeping everyone engaged in the action and know they’re excited to get the season started.”

Mammoth fans can enjoy insights, play calls, postgame interviews and more from the trio throughout the season on Altitude TV and Altitude TV 2. Broadcast and tune-in information for the 2021-22 campaign will be shared in the coming weeks via Mammoth social channels and Coloradomammoth.com.
