Colorado Acquires Third-Round Pick from Philadelphia Wings

DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today completed a trade with the Philadelphia Wings, acquiring a conditional third-round selection in the 2025 NLL Entry Draft in exchange for defenseman Jordan Stouros.

Stouros was initially signed to a one-year deal as a free agent on Dec. 6, during the NLL’s Week 1 slate, as the team opened the season with seven defenseman on its Injured Reserve List and goaltender Dillon Ward on the Physically Unable to Perform List.

With Stouros moved to the organization’s Practice Player List on Dec. 22 and defensemen Josh Sullivan, Owen Down and Noah Lebar getting closer to returning each week, it’s already become a bit of a numbers game regarding the team’s pool of personnel.

Getting a deal done with the Philadelphia Wings for the first time since acquiring defenseman Anthony Joaquim during the team’s 2021-22 NLL Championship campaign, the swap represents Colorado’s third in-season trade of the 2023-24 slate.
