DENVER — Altitude Sports announced today that it will broadcast 16 of 18 regular-season games for the 2021 Colorado Mammoth season, as the National Lacrosse League returns to play. As part of a new NLL broadcasting deal, ESPN will carry two Mammoth games nationally. The Mammoth regular season begins with a road game on Saturday, December 4th against the Georgia Swarm, which will appear on Altitude TV2. The December 11th home game at Ball Arena against the San Diego Seals will mark the return of The Loud House and will be seen nationwide on ESPN.
At this time, you can find Altitude available on DIRECTV and DIRECTV Stream, Charter Communications, and other cable providers in a 10-state region that includes Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nevada, South Dakota, Wyoming and Utah. For additional information on cable and satellite providers in your area, visit www.altitudesports.com/channel-finder/.
Altitude continues to seek an agreement on carriage deals with both Comcast and DISH Network, which have dropped coverage of a number of other regional sports networks throughout the United States. “Comcast and DISH Network continue to punish fans throughout the Rocky Mountain Region by denying them access to their hometown teams,” said Matt Hutchings COO of KSE.
Altitude continues to fight on behalf of all our fans and get them as many viewing alternatives as possible. “Comcast and DISH Network remain steadfast in demanding terms that would put Altitude (as well as regional sports networks in other markets) out of business, in the process raising the price for our fans to watch their local teams — something we won’t allow,” said Hutchings.
If you would like to speak with Comcast directly, they can be reached at 1-833-253-3725 and DISH Network at 1-844-553-3725.
The Mammoth’s broadcast crew for the upcoming 2021-22 National Lacrosse League (NLL) campaign will be comprised of Andy Lindahl, Jamie Shewchuk and John Gallant. Lindahl is the afternoon drive host on Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 and will be the play-by-play announcer for the Mammoth. He will be joined by former Mammoth player Jamie Shewchuk, who will once again serve as the color commentator. Gallant, another former Mammoth player, will be stationed between benches at Ball Arena providing game day insights.
