Mammoth Sign Goaltender Nate Faccin to New Deal

DENVER – The Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) today announced the organization has signed goaltender Nate Faccin to a two-year contract agreement, set to begin during the 2023-24 NLL campaign.

“Nate has been an important part of our team the last two years,” Mammoth General Manager Brad Self said. “He’s constantly working on his game and putting in extra time any chance he gets. He’s a great teammate and does whatever is asked of him. We’re looking forward to having Nate back for another two years.”

Faccin, 23, was promoted to the organization’s active roster and served as the team’s backup goaltender during a West Conference showdown with the San Diego Seals on January 28 last season, but with Tyler Carlson ready to step in, Faccin didn’t register any field time. Looking back to the team’s 2021-22 NLL Championship run, Faccin also served as the backup goaltender for seven regular season games while Tyler Carlson was on the Injured Reserve List.

Originally selected by Colorado in the 2020 NLL Entry Draft (fourth round, 58th overall), Faccin has continued to develop his goaltending skills in the wings while learning from veteran professionals Dillon Ward and Tyler Carlson, who have served as the team’s established netminders the past three seasons.
