DENVER – With both Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) and the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) having completed their respective finals, the road to the 2026 Mann Cup is officially set.
Hailing from the West: The Coquitlam Adanacs, which outlasted the Victoria Shamrocks (Eli McLaughlin, Ari Stevens) en route to securing a 4-2 series win.
From the East: The Six Nations Chiefs, which defeated the Peterborough Lakers (Robert Hope, Braedon Saris) on the way to their own 4-2 series victory.
And while Mammoth fans around North America may be bummed to see four of the Burgundy Boys eliminated from advancing, Citizens of the LOUD HOUSE should be even more pumped to continue rooting on the four men remaining in Canada’s premier box lacrosse tournament.
Primed to represent the yellow and gold Adanacs once more, the ever-interchangeable Jalen Chaster looks to add to his notable trophy case before summer’s end.

Coming off a WLA personal-best 43 points (18g, 25a) in 17 regular season appearances with his hometown squad, Chaster has added 23 points (9g, 14a) during Coquitlam’s postseason run, including nine points (4g, 5a) during the squad’s WLA Finals sessions.
Participating in his third Sr. A campaign with the Adanacs, Mammoth defenseman Brian Simmons has been racking up some sincere experience just the same this summer.
Having drawn into 12 of the team’s regular season matchups, the 24-year-old back-ender recorded one point (0g, 1a) as a rotational option yet doubled his regular season output during this year’s playoff run, with Simmons recording two points (0g, 2a) during his 11 postseason games played.
However, with the epic, annual gauntlet alternating home venues each season, it’ll be the ever-talented Chiefs set to host the best-of-seven tournament within the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA), with the opening-series showdown primed to take place on Friday, Sept. 11.
Longtime Mammoth defenseman Tim Edwards spent yet another summer with the teal-colored contingent, and, unsurprisingly helped earn the juggernaut of an organization another spot in this year’s Mann Cup.
Throughout his 25 combined appearances this season, Edwards has earned nine points (4g, 5a) and a mere six penalty minutes as one of the team’s many established veterans.

Forward Andrew Kew hadn’t experienced much MSL action prior to May. However, after being welcomed to the league-powerhouse a few months back, he’s since dedicated his time and craft to ensuring the Chiefs got another shot at the grand prize.
And wouldn’t you know it, he showed up in a big way: by producing 84 points (32g, 52a) during his first 23 contests with the Chiefs, which includes a whopping 18 points (8g, 10a) recorded during the MSL Finals.
Across the Chiefs’ six endgame contests against the Peterborough Lakers, Kew managed two goals in four of the five contests in which he was active for. Mammoth fans are well aware of Kew’s finishing skills and finesse and shouldn’t be surprised to see the forward excelling on such a stage!
